The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania has allocated EUR 20,000 in humanitarian aid for refugees in Myanmar. The funds will be transferred to the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
On 24 October in Vilnius, the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Darius Skusevičius met with Moldovan journalists from Gagauzia, Transnistria, Taraclia, and other regions. The journalists arrived in Lithuania to get acquainted with the country’s experience of European integration and strategic communications.
On 18 October, a squad made up of 34 Lithuanian soldiers started their service in the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) as part of the German contingent. The Lithuanian troops will be responsible for ensuring the defence of the forces in the territory of the military base in Mali’s eastern province of Gao.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania allocated EUR 20,000 in humanitarian aid to assist Palestinian refugees. The contribution will be transferred to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).

This informal discussion about the status and actual implementation processes of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, also took into account the regional aspect, with the participation of representatives of diplomatic institutions operating in Odesa.
