MOSTA together with its partners from Finland and Estonia will strengthen Moldova's vocational training system

The European Union  Twinning Project “Enhancing the quality and effectiveness of Vocational Education and Training system in Moldova” has been awarded to the consortium of Finland (senior project leader), Lithuania and Estonia with the aim to strengthen Moldova's vocational training system and increase its efficiency.

Education experts from Finland, Lithuania (MOSTA) and Estonia will provide support for Moldova’s Ministry of Education, Culture and Research and country’s vocational training system . The key objective of the project is to help actors of the system to implement National Vocational Education and Training (VET) Strategy for 2013-2020 as well as strengthening the institutional capacity in quality assurance with particular focus on competencies of VET teachers and promotion of cooperation with the private sector.

The project budget is 1.3 million EUR, duration - two years. The main activities of the project will include the analysis of Moldova's educational system development, evaluation and recommendations. Moldovan representatives will be introduced with experience of Finland, Lithuania and Estonia in the fields of vocational education policy making, implementation of the national qualifications framework, teacher training and quality assurance.
