Lithuanian experience to help Palestinian women embrace digital business
During 2018, the project “Digital Business Women 2018” was implemented in Palestine. The aim of this project was to improve the capabilities of Palestinian women in digital business: to strengthen networking, communication, digital marketing and social networks usage skills. Furthermore, the project intended to create an informational platform for the Palestinian and Lithuanian business representatives for B2B communication.
Sixteen project participants were introduced to the digital and social media scene in Palestine, e-payment solutions, e-commerce legal aspects, digital marketing and native advertising. Three Lithuanian businesswomen and e-commerce experts shared their experience and stories with the participants.
In order to sustain project results, a digital library has been developed containing training materials, audio, short videos, notes, recommendations, and contacts.
The project was financed by the funds of the Development Cooperation and Democracy Promotion Program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania.
